Two robbers chopped off a person’s hand with a sword and decamped together with his bag in Punjab’s Amritsar on Tuesday, the police stated.

The sufferer, recognized as Ankit, was admitted to a personal hospital, the place a surgical procedure is in progress to hitch his amputated hand, the police stated.

The incident occurred close to Nangali village on the outskirts of Amritsar and one of many accused, who was in an apparel of a Nihang, chopped off Ankit’s hand with a sword in a scuffle.
