Delhi Sees Over 500% Jump In COVID-19 Containment Zones Since April 1

The variety of containment zones within the nationwide capital has jumped to 13,259 from 2,183 on April 1, in line with official information launched by the Delhi authorities as the town grapples to rein within the drastic surge in Covid circumstances.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal introduced a six-day lockdown from 10 PM on Monday until 5 AM on April 26, saying the step was essential to take care of the rising variety of COVID-19 circumstances which have elevated the burden on the well being system.
